 |
* When
nearing the Maine border on the way back to Rangeley from Pittsburg,
we came across a dog sledder who said his team of dogs had just gotten
tangled up with a sick bull moose. We found the sick adult bull moose
laying in the trail. Occasionally he would get up and attempt to take
a step or two, only to go in circles and fall down again. He must have
been sick and dying, so we left him in peace
so nature could take it's course. |
