The NH Grass Drags and Watercross is a three-day powersports extravaganza. It is held annually by the New Hampshire Snowmobile Association. The event takes place on Columbus Day weekend in October. Also known as “The Grass Drags” or “Epping,” Race Into Winter Grass Drags and Watercross is the premiere snowmobile event. It is a must-attend for snowmobile enthusiasts and competitors.

Volunteer to work the Grass Drags and earn funds for the club. Each hour you volunteer earns the club $12!

Join us for a hike to the first-ever NOR'EASTERS PRE-SEASON COOKOUT atop the Vista Trail Lookout!

Open to the public - All are welcome. Food and water provided.

Come see the improvements we've made to the Vista Trail, Danny's Way, and others, as well as the improved views at the Vista lookout. We will also have club grooming equipment on display. Meet club officers and learn about how we maintain some of the best trails in southern NH.

NOTE: For those unable to complete the hike, reach out to the club at [email protected] and we will make arrangements to drive you to the top for the cookout.

The Nor'Easters will have a table at this open house, and can answer any questions you have about the club or local trails.
We will also be selling memberships and trail maps, and will gladly accept any donations yo may wish to make towards trail maintenance.

The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department strongly recommends that all riders participate in a Safety Education Class. State law requires that all operators 12 years of age and over must possess either a valid Motor Vehicle Driver’s License or must have successfully completed an approved OHRV or Snowmobile Safety Education Class when operating off their own property. The safety certificate is valid for both OHRV and snowmobile operation; two separate courses are not required.

Scholarship application details will be provided a few months prior to application deadline

Shortly after our trails open for the 2026/2027 season, our club president, Dave DiTullio, will lead an Introductory Ride starting from Silver Lake Park. While intended for those who are either new to the sport or unfamiliar with our trails, anyone who wants to can join along on this open group ride. For those interested, we will go to a trail accessible restaurant for lunch.
